Depois de realizar uma pré-temporada mais longa, Edu Dracena está reintegrado aos trabalhos com o restante do grupo no Palmeiras. Nesta manhã, o zagueiro participou da atividade física com todos os atletas e agora precisa readquirir ritmo para ficar à disposição de Roger Machado.

Jean, que se recupera de uma artroscopia no joelho direito, também tem mostrado evolução nos trabalhos com o Núcleo de Saúde e Performance (área médica, preparação física, fisiologia, fisioterapia, nutrição, massagem, odontologia e podologia) do clube.

O clube decidiu dar mais tempo de preparação ao zagueiro de 36 anos, repetindo a estratégia de 2017 que considera ter dado certo, já que Dracena conseguiu atuar em 48 partidas. Moisés teve um trabalho semelhante, mas se juntou ao grupo antes, tanto que entrou no segundo tempo do jogo de domingo, contra o Bragantino.

Jean, enquanto isso, embora ainda não tenha ido a campo, está recuperando-se bem. O camisa 2 passou por uma artroscopia no joelho direito há 20 dias e já está sem muleta, fazendo atividades físicas na parte interna do Centro de Excelência. A previsão é de retorno em pouco mais de um mês.

O lateral-direito tem um problema crônico no joelho, de desgaste de cartilagem. O procedimento serviu para tirar a causa do desgaste, mas não há cura neste caso. Clube e atleta esperam que a partir de agora ele volte a ter menos dores na região, como era anos antes, quando já tinha este quadro.

Diogo Barbosa, que teve uma entorse no tornozelo esquerdo há quase três semanas, deve ir a campo nos próximos dias. O Palmeiras considera que o lateral-esquerdo também está avançado na recuperação, mas cuida do caso com cautela, por ter sido uma torção importante. Ele deve ficar mais uma semana em tratamento até ser liberado.

O último jogador com problema físico no elenco é Deyverson. Ele sofreu uma fissura no osso do pé direito graças também a uma entorse. Para ajudar na recuperação, o atacante passou por uma pequena cirurgia, simples, e ainda tem previsto seu retorno entre seis e oito semanas.

David Richardson, the ICC’s chief executive, has said the BCCI had indulged in “gamesmanship” and conceded it was “in the driving seat” during negotiations over the controversial restructuring of the ICC.Earlier this year, the BCCI, the ECB and Cricket Australia proposed a radical overhaul of the ICC, including increased shares of global revenue for all three and powerful positions on a newly-formed executive committee. Although there were concerns from other countries, outside the Big Three, they were all eventually talked around into accepting the various proposals.BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel had stated that the Indian board had threatened to form a parallel world cricket body if its demand for a greater revenue share was not met. Although Richardson did not confirm that when questioned on the BBC’s , he did not deny that the BCCI had played a forceful hand.”India were saying, ‘We need to have more of a say, we need more money’. So it was a negotiation; it turned into a negotiation,” he said. “There was gamesmanship, certainly some people have more influence than others and more authority.”Certainly India are in the driving seat when it comes to being in a good position at the negotiating table, bearing in mind their tours of every country are the extreme revenue generators.”Richardson also suggested that the new structure was not an outright power grab and instead just a way of formalising what had unofficially been taking place for some time. He added that the full ICC Board, which is made up of the 10 Full Members and three Associate representatives, remained the main decision-making group and not the new Exco.”The reality is although there’s been a lot of talk about change, it is the people who were having the most influence of the ICC board in the past that will still have the most influence going forward,” Richardson said. “It is a clash of ideologies essentially; there are people who think the ICC should be a more independent body and others think it should remain a members’ body.”More than anything this has been a wake-up to other countries who have sat back and let things happen, having no real say at meetings.”There were people attending meetings, sometimes seemingly sleeping at them, not participating, not contributing.”When that happens there is going to be a power vacuum and people who have the authority are going to take control.”Richardson also defended the appointment of N Srinivasan as ICC chairman despite India’s Supreme Court ordering him to stand down from his BCCI role as part of corruption investigations in the IPL.”The Supreme Court has not gone as far as to say he should not be involved with ICC or be the next chairman,” said Richardson. “What we do know is the Supreme Court charges to be investigated are totally unsubstantiated at this point in time.”

وأشار إلى أنه رغم ذلك، لم يُقنع سام مرسي المدرب البرتغالي على المستوى الفني خلال المعسكر، ووضعه فيتوريا في ترتيب متأخر بين لاعبي الوسط المُتاحين بناء على أسباب فنية وعلى رأسها افتقاده للقدرات الهجومية التي يشترطها فيتوريا في لاعبي الوسط، لتصبح فرصته في الانضمام للمنتخب خلال الفترة المقبلة صعبة.

I am sure he will [now] sit down with the selectors and work out some sort of plan. Is it affecting your captaincy? Do you want a break from captaincy? Do you need a break from batting? He hasn’t scored a lot of runs of late. I personally think England need him as a batsman. Besides his triumphant World Cup campaign in 1999, Waugh led Australia to wins in 41 of the 57 Tests he captained. Achieving a high success rate in the current scenario is difficult for captains, but Waugh felt the outcome of the ongoing series in England could decide the fates of MS Dhoni and Cook as leaders.”I think Dhoni has had some really good results in the last couple of years. He seems to have the magic touch especially when it comes to winning big games and he knows what to do,” Waugh said. “But right now, both Dhoni and Cook are under pressure to get a win in England. Whoever wins this series will be known as a fantastic captain and whoever loses the series, his captaincy will be under a lot of pressure.”Waugh stated that Michael Clarke, the current Australia captain, was the best leader in contemporary cricket: “Right now, Michael Clarke has done a fantastic job in taking Australia from No. 5 to No. 1, so he is probably the best captain in the world at the moment.”Waugh was also impressed with Hashim Amla, South Africa’s new Test captain, who led the side to a win over Sri Lanka in Galle last week. O Fluminense permanece buscando maneiras de fortalecer o elenco para o restante da temporada. Nesta segunda-feira, o Tricolor anunciou, oficialmente, a contratação de Nenê, que assinou sem custos aos cofres da equipe após rescindir seu vínculo com o São Paulo. O meio-campista de 37 anos assinou um contrato válido até o fim de 2020 e vai vestir a camisa 77.

A apresentação de Nenê vai acontecer ainda nesta segunda-feira. Antes do apito inicial da partida contra o Ceará, pela décima rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro, às 20h, o meio-campista vai vestir pela primeira vez a camisa do Fluminense na sala de imprensa do Maracanã.

O interesse do Fluminense em Nenê não é novidade. Desde o começo do ano, o Tricolor busca a contratação do atleta, mas o alto salário que recebia no São Paulo sempre foi um entrave. Com a chegada de Cuca no time paulista, o meio-campista perdeu espaço e, fora dos planos, a negociação foi facilitada.

Será a segunda passagem de Nenê no futebol carioca. Em 2015, após deixar o West Ham, da Inglaterra, o meio-campista foi um dos principais jogadores na campanha de recuperação do Vasco no Campeonato Brasileiro daquele ano. Apesar do rebaixamento, o jogador deixou boas impressões no Rio de Janeiro. Pelo time de São Januário, conquistou o Campeonato Carioca de 2016.

Antes de São Paulo e Vasco, Nenê passou por Paulista, Palmeiras, Santos, Mallorca-ESP, Alavés-ESP, Celta de Vigo-ESP, Monaco-FRA, Espanyol-ESP, Paris Saint-Germain-FRA, Al-Gharafa-QAT e West Ham-ING. كشف رامي ربيعة لاعب فريق الكرة بالنادي الأهلي عن موقفه من الانتقال إلى الزمالك في المستقبل، معلقا على انضمام إمام عاشور للقلعة الحمراء خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية الجارية.

ويدخل فريق الكرة بالأهلي في مواجهة قوية أمام نظيره نادي اتحاد العاصمة الجزائري غدا الجمعة، وذلك بمباراة السوبر الإفريقي المقررة في السعودية.

وقال رامي ربيعة في تصريحات تلفزيونية عبر قناة “إم بي سي مصر”: “لم أتلق عرضًا رسميًا من الزمالك ولكن وكيلي حازم فتوح اقترح علي فكرة الانتقال للزمالك ولكني أبلغته أن هذا باب مغلق”.

وأكمل: “لا أريد خسارة جمهور الأهلي أو النادي حال الانتقال للزمالك، وقراري حال الرحيل هو الاحتراف إما في الإمارات أو السعودية”.

وأضاف: “لن أقبل الرحيل للزمالك بسبب كوني تربيت في الأهلي ومن الصعب أن ينتقل أبناء القلعة البيضاء مثل شيكابالا أو حازم إمام”.

وعن رأيه في انضمام إمام عاشور إلى الأهلي، أجاب: “وجهة نظري أنه يشبه ما حدث عندما انضم حسام وإبراهيم حسن إلى الزمالك منذ سنوات ولكن قرار إمام عاشور مجازفة كبيرة، وسبق حدوثها مع مؤمن زكريا ونجح في الأهلي”.

وأردف: “لو كنت في نفس موقف إمام عاشور لخشيت من اتخاذ هذه الخطوة ولكن نحن في الأهلي نحاول إدخال اللاعبين الجدد في الأجواء ولا يوجد لدينا لاعب كبير أو نجم للفريق أو لاعب أساسي وآخر احتياطي، الجميع متساوِ”.

How absurd it is that when a batsman is out within touching distance of a statistical milestone it is somehow failure that is emphasised. Eoin Morgan was dismissed for 191, failing to score his first double hundred in Championship cricket. Then Alex Hales fell for 96, failing to complete his second hundred of the season. Each was furious, for different reasons. Logically, though, they ought to have been chuffed.Morgan, without whose efforts, to supplement those of Chris Rogers, Middlesex would have been nowhere near 500, went to pull a ball from Luke Fletcher and misread it just enough to glove it, giving Chris Read an easy catch behind the stumps. He had hit 29 fours and two sixes, batting for more than six hours and deserved the cherry on the cake, without doubt, in spite of being dropped on 20. Even without the pay-off line, though, it had been a wonderful innings, advancing his cause as a batsman of substance, of Test match quality.Hales was cross, too, seemingly not so much because he had been culpable in his own demise as out of disappointment with a decision that, in his eyes at least, seemed to favour the bowler. He had hit 16 fours and a six, faced only 110 balls; one firm drive or nicely timed cut away from another step on the road towards his goal, to re-establish himself as a first-choice at the top of the Nottinghamshire batting order, a status he had lost after a wretchedly poor 2013.As with Morgan, all that was lacking from his statement of intent was a flourishing signature; he had taken his chances and made more good decisions than bad, which in his case is a prime objective.He dominated his exchanges with Steven Finn, which says something too, perhaps, about where the England bowler sits in his redemption quest. Finn, told for the moment to forget about international cricket and settle into the rhythm of the county game, has taken 31 Championship wickets, which would suggest he is doing quite a lot right. Yet he offered plenty of chances to score on this occasion and Hales took advantage, hitting 30 from the 23 balls Finn bowled at him, including one run of four boundaries in five deliveries.”I do feel I have something to prove,” Hales said afterwards. “I learned my trade at the top of the order and whether that is my future is a good question but that is the only spot available at the moment and I’d like to show that I can nail it.”I’ve worked on playing a lot straighter, and playing the ball a bit later, and on my footwork too, because being a tall guy I can get a bit a slack in that regard. I feel my game is coming along nicely at the moment.”Finn bowled a few decent balls, too, it should be said. Michael Lumb had one, taking out his middle stump when his first half-century of a lean season so far appeared there for the taking. Finn pushed that one through with pace, breaking a partnership of 102 with Hales after Phil Jaques had fallen early.James Taylor missed an opportunity to prosper, bowled off stump by Neil Dexter, whose medium pace has been well rewarded before at Trent Bridge, but Samit Patel and Riki Wessels added 106 in 31.3 overs before bad light ended play, taking advantage of Middlesex’s desire to advance the game by deploying their slow bowlers under brightly gleaming floodlights, using Joe Denly’s leggies and Paul Stirling’s offbreaks as well as Dexter and Ravi Patel.Patel is 75 not out but, one feels, will need to add substantially to that to keep Nottinghamshire in the game.Nottinghamshire improved their performance in the field, holding catches where they had spilled them on Saturday, although there was no repairing the damage. Fletcher and Peter Siddle finished with three wickets each but only Harry Gurney achieved the control needed on an unforgiving surface.
